360 degree feedback mechanism will be launched in 2006 in the UNDP Nordic Office, Denmark and in the Country Offices in Fiji, China and the Philippines as part of the ICSC’s broad banding and pay for performance pilot project.

The Rewards and Recognition system will not replace but dove-tail and support current systems such as RCA, With-in-Grade step increase, Merit Increase, Promotion and Pay for Performance (broadbanding pilot).

Ca n'a rien à voir avec la large bande dont on parle en informatique mais je ne trouve trace de "broadbanding" nulle part ...

Discussion

Elisabeth Toda-v.Galen (asker) Jul 11, 2006:
nothing ... this is a UN document
Jonathan MacKerron Jul 11, 2006:
on second thought probably referring to "pay bands", i.e. upper and lower salary limits for each income bracket
Jonathan MacKerron Jul 11, 2006:
what does this company manufacture?

DEF – The use of salary structures with
significantly fewer grades (or bands)
and much wider ranges than what has
been considered the "norm" in the past.
Source

OBS – Jobs that previously were
covered by as many as four or five
grades typically are consolidated into a
single band with one minimum and one
maximum. Source

OBS – Les structures salariales
élargies. La structure salariale dite
«élargie» permet de regrouper tous les
emplois d'un niveau hiérarchique
comparable dans une même famille
d'emplois et, conséquemment, dans
une même classe salariale. Issu de la
conjoncture économique actuelle, le
principe des structures salariales
élargies répond aux nouveaux défis en
matière de gestion de la rémunération.
