"fonceur" OU "dragueur"

Tony Gates proves he's more than a guy on the make. "On the make" is slang. If Tony Gates is aggressively striving for financial or social improvement, then he's on the make. On the other hand, if he's eagerly seeking a sexual partner, he's on the make. In the first case, we would say that "il est un fonceur"; in the second case, we would say that "il est un dragueur". Attention: "on the make" ne veut pas dire "on the take".

La 1ère est liée à l'ambition. On pourrait aussi traduire par "excessivement ambitieux".
La 2ème est à connotation sexuelle. "à l'affut", "chasseur".
