English to French Tech/Engineering Computers: Software Library management

It deals with application design and development.

The context is the following:

"When working with libraries, it is important to be aware of how libraries are version handled, how libraries are connected, and what happens if a certain library is changed. Libraries may exist in multiple versions in the same project, but not in the same application. A new version of a library shall be connected to all applications where it will be used."

I understand that libraries might have multiple versions and these versions can be managed, but I don't know what it is called in French.
