Je ne vois pas à quoi se réfère "facilitates" ici. J'ai l'impression que cela ne correspond pas avec ce qui suit "coupled with".

Discussion
It does help now we know that this may not be written by a native EN speaker, as that is bound to influence the probabilities of different of different error mechanisms.
My guess would be that there are words missing between '...facilitates' and 'coupled...' -- but the only way to be sure will, I'm afraid, be to ask the customer!
