A international Tier 1 supplier is looking for three Vehicle Integration Engineers. The company specializes in production and delivery of seats, cockpits, acoustic packages, doors, front ends and exhaust systems. The Vehicle Integration Engineer will be responsible for the design development of new or existing products, in line with planning, process, quality and cost targets. Major responsibilities include;
- Integrate the exhaust sassembly design into the vehicle, meeting customer requirements,
-Generate design concepts and produce conforming design, parameters and calculations utilizing available predictive resources,
- Assess data provided by development engineering group to drive design decisions
- Provide alternative design solutions accompanied by analysis, supporting information and recommendations.
Requirements include;
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Master's preferred.
Experiencei n Design&Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
Knowledge and experience in the Program Management process.
- Good knowledge of Program standards, tools and methods, especially the product related APQP documents.
-Appropriate training in program specific CAD software a plus but not essential.
- Familiar with primary manufacturing methods of exhaust systems desired, but not mandatory.
