According to Michael Schwartz, senior vice president of marketing and corporate development, New Skies, the company has worked with Newtec on a management system that allows each service provider to fully manage their own resources, creating a “hub within a hub” and lowering the individual investment costs.
“It’s not only about the speed of the connection that is important to our customers, but also the look and feel of the services. Too many satellite-delivered broadband services to date have been all about the satellite and not about the service,” Schwartz says.
