: Not sure about transliterating it, but agree there's no one Arabic term for it. I like the definition in your final link though: "وهو شخص لا يملك ذكاء اجتماعي كافي للتخاطب مع الاخرين.. ويمتلك فقط نوعين من الذكاء ، الاكاديمي والمهني " A bit long though!

دحاح
"دحاح" is the Egyptian slang equivalent of "nerd". It refers to someone who is excessively studious, sometimes on the expense of being sociable or popular . I can't think of a term that conveys the same meaning in classical Arabic.
