PROPOSAL FOR THE WILLIAM
Dressing Change:
• Remove all bandages.
• Take a full body shower with warm water and soap.
• Dry well and pad dry the wound.
• Apply some Betadine solution on wound. (Paint it with a gauze corner dipped in Betadine)
• Apply few gauzes on wound and around the drain and fix it with tape.
The drain should be removed in 5-7 days after your surgery on your follow up appointment. Before discharge, your doctor and nurse will provide you with information separately.
Avoid sitting directly on the wound; learn to sit with most of your weight placed on your thighs rather than tail back.
Avoid count sport or long sitting directly on your incision.
