That's the name of one sleep stages. It's the stage when we start dreaming.

I was thinking of نوم العيون المتحركة. any other suggestions?

I would have studied medicine neuneutek if it was available in Gaza, but it wasn't :( So I made it up by studying English and working on Medical translations instead :-D Well, at least, I can work with red ink away from blood that scares me to death :-D Your notes are always helpful neuneutek :) Thank you :)

I wish I had come earlier that I could post some new info .... :) I see my dear brothers and sister have already mentioned what I have on mind even if separately. :) I'll just have to support them. Hope my note helps in a way though.

The translation does not have to be literal, so I think it would be best to improvise a translation noting the initials of Rapid Eye Movmebnt in parenthesis). See the link for an interesting explanation of REM.
