: I believe this is part of what the UN calls Development Millenium Goals and therefore the idea is more than just satisfying material needs for the undeprivileged. It is rather ridding humanity of all sorts of socio-economic ills.

I read the passge you provided. Its translation is wonderful but if I were you, I would go for وهي تتطلب تنسيق الجهود
وليس "تتطلب جهودا متناغمة
and it is up to you. It is just a suggestion.
