: I do not agree with quote nr. 3. Representative persons in the context of this quote are persons that represent interest groups or entities of power.// IMHO however, this English term does not completely cover the term "maatmensen".

: control persons (members of a control group) are real persons. A "maatmens" is not, it's a mathematical model with standard features defined as mean averages of the population that the "maatmens" represents.
