Am confused as to the meaning of verhaal (does it mean redress here?), and how it relates to aanhouden AAN. Any help gratefully (and urgently!) received.

I'd thus understand it to mean that with respect the UI agency, XXX (the former employer?) will comply with the tenor of the petition and defence documents.
