The Danish latin is for pulmonary stethoscopy and is accepted in the US when translating Danish medical reports as P.st. = pulmonary stethoscopy

: I don't know what is accepted as translation from Danish in the UK but "pulmonary auscultation" would certainly go down better - "stethoscopy" sounds very foreign indeed//and I've been a doctor for 28 years...

I found this on proz.com, http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1536158, from another translator. I had a medical transcription company for 35 years, and indeed stethoscopy is used by physicians.
