Company personnel policies. Here, regarding leave of various types. If a 'fridag' is a public holiday, and 'ferie' is meant as going-away holiday (or not), what is a feriefridag?

"Særlige feriefridage" are extra days off with pay that employees in the public sector "earn" as a supplement to their regular paid vacation. As of 2001 the number of extra days off is 5 per year, and the name has been changed to særlige feriedage. See link.

: Sounds good to me. I prefer just plain "vacation days" - at least that's the term we used when I worked in the U.S.
