Grammatical Analysis
Sentence: 這間工廠的工人很多,工作時間是從上午八時到下午六時。
1st Attempt: The number of workers in this factory is large, and the working hours are from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
Problem: This is an easy question. I am concerned about the use of the word 時 in this context. Although very common in Japanese, it certainly is not what Cantonese speakers say. Is this standard traditional Han?
You are, of course, welcome to comment on other parts of the sentence, as well.

Yes this is standard traditional Han, mostly used in writing. Cantonese speakers and Mandarins speakers use 點 during conversation instead of 時.
If you google the phrase you will see that 時 is used in both Hong Kong and Taiwanese web sites.
