Middle School Good point, Amel. Here in the States, Middle School is only 7th and 8th grades in most states but the diplomas of the person are listed regardless of what grades they cover. When one reads (Middle School + High School), I think he will figure out that this person has finished both levels. As for Secondary verses High School, you are right, we don't know the target. I used what I am familiar with :)

I would say it depends on the target audience. "Middle school" and "high school" are standard terms used in the U.S. If the target audience is British, then it would be appropriate to use whatever terms are standard in the UK. In the U.S., both "elementary" and "primary" refer to grades 1 to 6, while middle school typically covers grades 7, 8, and sometimes 9. Not sure what the system is elsewhere.
