i am looking for a hip, popular type of phrase to say
"the gathering place", as in a welcoming place for people to hang out. Or, the other angle could be a more traditional/historical expression that could refer to a gathering place.

"La Guarida"/"El Antro"
Those are the two "hip" suggestions I have. The answer will also depend on who will read this, from what country?
