Alaa Zeineldine Mar 16, 2005:
Post-grading: I didn't explain this, but by "[degrees]" I was referring to the degrees superscript symbol. Either the symbol or the actual word "degrees" must be used.
Alaa Zeineldine Mar 15, 2005:
marybro: This is probably 40 degrees Celcius, which would be a few degrees above the body temperature of 37.
Non-ProZ.com Mar 15, 2005:
Thanks! The article does not clearly state what the product is, but it seems a garment. The wording is in a use instruction!
Non-ProZ.com Mar 15, 2005:
Thanks!
marybro Mar 15, 2005:
can 40 water be considered "warm"? to me 40 water is cool... it's almost freezing...
Angela Dickson (X) Mar 15, 2005:
It would be really useful if you could state what the product is, and where this wording is to appear.

neutral Alaa Zeineldine : Slightly inaccurate since this includes 40 degrees. It is possible of course that "below 40" was not deliberately exclusive.

Warm wash (below 40 degrees)

Depends on the product - if clothes, then this is the usual labelling (at least in the UK)
