What type of foundations will my xxx building require?
This depends on the surface the building will be standing on, and the type of building. Relocatable buildings that will be on hard standing will only require ***shims***. For other surfaces or for modular buildings, only pad foundations are necessary. The foundations required will depend on site conditions, building weight and floor loads, so we will always advise you on your individual foundation requirements.
Although I checked the glossary, previous entries seemed to be related to automotive rather than construction.

well I know shims from motorsport (motorcycles) but by checking this also refers to construction/building industries.
I'd suggest the term "Ausgleichsscheiben" in the motorsport it'll be a "Ausgleichsringe".

"shim" kann als verb "unterbauen" bedeuten; ich denke mit "unterlegscheiben" usw. kommt man hier nicht weiter, darunter stelle ich mir jedenfalls etwas kleineres vor...
im internet habe ich zu fertighäusern gefunden: Laut der letztgültigen Fassung der ÖNORM B 2310 ist ein Fertighaus "ein aus vorgefertigten, geschosshohen Wandbauteilen, Raumzellen sowie aus vorgefertigten Deckenelementen errichtetes Bauwerk, welches in Produktionsstätten witterungsunabhängig hergestellt, auf die Baustelle transportiert und dort auf vorbereiteten Unterbauten errichtet wird".
vielleicht ginge auch: unterlegplatten (gibt es in zusammenhang mit wohnwägen; ist ja auch ein mobiles zuhause!)
