German term

Salzkerne

German to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing
Unfortunately hardly any context. Appears as follows in a slideshow presentation:
"Kaufteilpreisanalyse
Salzkerne"
I can't find a translation anywhere. Does anyone know the English term?

Thanks, Armaat, I think you've got it there. I did actually find that site but failed to notice the "English" tab at the top of the screen!
Non-ProZ.com Mar 7, 2005:
Thanks for understanding, Hilary. Glad you saw the funny side of it.
Trudy - I'm afraid I don't know. It's from a sample page provided by a firm of management consultants within a presentation about their services, and all the other terms are fairly general though clearly related to manufacturing.
Hilary Davies Shelby Mar 7, 2005:
Now that's funny ;-) See? with a bit of creativity, you can make anything fit any context ;-)
Trudy Peters Mar 7, 2005:
What kind of industry are we talking about here?
Non-ProZ.com Mar 7, 2005:
I'm so sorry, Hilary - I'm afraid I misled you. The category "direct mailing process" referred to a previous question and I forgot to delete it for this one. Short of reposting the question, I really don't know how to get rid of it! I'll try contacting the moderator.
Apologies once again!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks to all who contributed to this one. It certainly brightened up a dull text (-:"

scattershot

I am wondering if it's a way of expressing "scattershot" mailing campaigns, which are basically random mass mailings. Something to do with scattering grains of salt?
