Thanks to Csaba, too-:) town twinning is not so enjoyable though, I have to transcribe Romanian, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Italian etc. names that I have no idea how to pronounce. This is where I find KudoZ extremely helpful:)

answer

Almost the same as it is written
"s" should be transcribed with "s with hacek" (as in Siaulai in Lithuania).
"gy" is pronounced as a softened "d" in Russian (as in derevnya or dezhurnaya)
é is a longer form of e
á is a longer and more open form of a
These last two vowels can simply be transcribed with e and a, respectively.

Happy town twinning!
