A variety of poker perhaps? A search on {card games "high +and low"} finds a lot of references to poker games where the same hand can win both high and low, or an ace can count either high or low.

see link, they refer to "dos mesas de dados (alto y bajo)". I)f we are not sure of the rules of alto y bajo (which we aren't), it may be safer to just say "dice"
