In that regard, percutaneous nucleotomy with discoscopy is fundamentally different from newer automated systems ("techniques" would be a better term here, I suppose) which unspecifically aspirate the viscous central parts of the nucleus rather than the dorsally dislocated fragments.

Believe it or not - the whole thing between \"ungezielt\" and \"aspirierenden\" works as a quasi-adjective in an enumeration: \"newer, unspecifically...aspirating, automated systems\". A construction which is, for obvious reasons, not usually employed with long phrases. The \"eher...denn\" corresponds to the English \"rather...than\" and has, in German, a slightly old-fashioned touch.
