Since you say it's pottery, I assumed Keramik might be part of the name.
(In old china, the KM often stands for Köngliche Manufaktur, but as far as I know, there never were any royal pottery manufacturers.)
A search on "KMK" was way too extensive to yied anything useful, however, a search on "KMK Keramik" brought the following result. If the piece of pottery you refer to is of recent origin, it might be what you were looking for.

I don't know how old the teapot is, but it has a small chip on the lip of the pot and the material the pot is made of is a reddish color. I will use your resources to help me identify it. KMK must be an artist or manufacturer... the closest thing I could find in a Yahoo! search was an artist who works in ceramics named Michael Kempe (as in K.eramik M.ichael K.empe, or K.empe M.ichael K.eramik), but the link just led to a 404 message, so I can't either prove or disprove that theory. Sorry.

Here's guessing that the last K is for Keramik. KMK is probably the manufacturer. K for K"oniglich might fly or might not, and M could be from a place name, e.g. Mainzer.
