Value Your Difference OR Where Difference is Valued
thought that emphasizes the PERSON......rather than the school per see...
value is the IN WORD in business writing...STILL
personally, I don't think it ain't the best sounding thing in French for a BUSINESS school...

Comment: "Thank you everybody. You're all really helpful. We started with Stand out from the crowd but Carl's remark was very valid. Thanks anyway Tanglewood. We ended up with 'We value your difference or Your difference adds value' so many thanks Jane. You're spot on."

cultiver votre diffrence
dare to be different
Not the exact meaning and somewhat trite, but at least it's punchy and immediately understandable.

: Unfortunately this has become something of a cliché when talking about business schools (search " "stand out from the crowd" business school" in Google) so it may not cultiver the différence of this business school too well

: In theory, yes indeed! But how does this relate to 'selling' the business school? // Indeed; but that's 'deferred gratification'! 'Come to our school to enable you to assert your individuality'

cause what you learn there will enable you to make your mark?? we will give you the skills so you can go out in the world and (start to) make your mark. who said anything about "asserting individuality"?

cultiver votre diffrence
stress your particularity / personality
or "dare to be special". Karen´s would have been my first choice, too, as IMO it is the most common and slogan-like

cultiver votre diffrence
develop your uniqueness
I can't say that I'm entirely happy with my own suggestion either, but I feel that the other suggestions miss the mark a bit, except for 'stand out from the crowd'
Surely you need as a priority to get across the idea of 'cultiver' = to grow, make thrive --- the business school wants to motivate people to 'improve' themselves, i.e. pay them for training. You never say 'you are ignorant, we can teach you to be more clever', but rather, 'you already have a special quality of uniqueness, and with our help you can encourage that to grow'
Good luck!

: Certainly a pity to lose the idea of "cultiver" in the original - especially in the educational setting. Another word that springs to mind is "nurture"...

cultiver votre diffrence
prepare to stand out
i tried to keep the 'long-term learning learning' element (prepare) as strong as the 'stand out' part; i agree 'stand out from the crowd' is pretty cheesy, but... maybe a business scholl wants/needs to ti in with that whole busienss world thing..; so 'prepare to stand out' might offer a twist on the from 'the crowd option'...
..;or it might be appalling: let me know! ;-)

: Sounds good, except it might be taken as meaning "we don't have enough classrooms, so be prepared to stand outside in the bus-shelter" :-))) /// OR: "We'll make you so odd, everyone will know you've been to X Business School" ;-)
