I need an English word that means 'all kinds of profession that help mother give birth to the child' including modern doctor and traditional practitioner. Only during the short period of giving birth, not during the 9 month period.

This will include midwives, gynecologists, obstetricians, and anyone else on the labour ward that deals with the mother leading up to, during and immeditaely after labour.
