German term

Gef.St.V.

German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) laws or regulations
This occurs in
in instructions for painting metal objects. [para] is the paragraph sign, like a double-S interlocked.
I suppose Gef.St.V. is something like Gefahrenstrafverordnung. My real question is: is this a national law, or a regulation within the company that issued this document?
