I'm a little confused by this term, and I hope someone with a chemical engineering background can clarify this for me. I know about ethylene polymers, but I can't find the term "ethylene polymer alcohol" anywhere. Does this refer to alcohol containing ethylene polymers?

Selected
alcohol from ethylene polymerization
I'm not a chemist, but I'll try anyway. Alcohol molecules are found among monomer molecules, so I think the phrase means alcohol created and taken from ethylene polymerization or ethylene-polymerized alcohol.

Ethylene-Vinylalcohol Copolymer
I suppose that 「エチレン重合アルコール」might refer to 「エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体」.
If it is so, it can be translated into Ethylene-Vinylalcohol Copolymer(EVOH).
If it is so, it can be translated into Ethylene-Vinylalcohol Copolymer(EVOH).
