German term

millimetergenau

German to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general)
It's the end of the day, and my mind is blank.
I need a suitable English term for 'millimetergenau' in an advertising text:
Millimetergenaues Positionieren (from a list of features for a sealing compound).
Surprisingly, the word is widely used in German, but I haven't found a translation anywhere.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Although Ramon's answer is closer to the original, I have selected Nicole's suggestion because it fits the advertising nature of my text better. Nonetheless, I will enter both answers in the glossary. Thanks also for all the confirmations ;-)"

exact to the millimeter

meaning very precise...
Peer comment(s):

agree Gareth McMillan : That's exact to the letter what I was going to post, because it's what people say in UKE engineering (but millimetre) and it fits the DE perfectly, pleasant surprise.

Thank you, Gareth, very kind of you. I've done some engineering myself, so I've heard it before from my colleagues...
agree Textklick : And now Mr. McMillan beat me too. It's what I'd have said ;-) Què?

millimeter accuracy

Just another idea to play with.

Positioning to within millimeter accuracy.

1-millimeter accuracy

am very pleased to find that my implementation of Wallis's algorithm and Karsten implementation of Poder-Engsager agree to within a millimeter accuracy across the entire range of values for which Engsager claims his implementation is accurate.
