This is a long review on the development and works of a plastic arts artist. This part has just been taking a historical view, comparing the change of turn of the century artists, who turned from traditional to more figurative styles, and so into abstract art.

I was intending to use "traditional prejudices" but I cannot find a way to translate "di forma", which seems to be qualifying prejudices also.
