Data Centres
In addition to civil communications networks provided to
the County there will be two pocket Data Centres which
will manage data for a number of County functions and
accommodate its growth and development.
Data Centres should adopt the following security planning
considerations:
• Should not be located near heavy industry or hazardous
material areas;
• Should not be located in high density areas;
• Should include an enforced and monitored perimeter to
enforce appropriate stand-off (30m);
