English term
perfect squares
I understand that this is educational in nature as opposed to being from the world of research. I am unable to provide any bankground information in this particular case. End customer notes: "-'ARG' in the first and second types of content (Solver & Animation texts) represent our placeholders - depending on the task entered, these placeholders in the application will be replaced by the appropriate number/variable/expression. Accordingly, they do not need to be translated."
EN:
1. Type - Solver texts
- Use the absolute value definition to separate the absolute value into ARG1 possible cases
- The radicand is ARG1, a number which is between ***perfect squares*** ARG2 and ARG3
- By the diagonal rule, add the products of the main diagonals going from top to bottom and subtract the products of the diagonals going from bottom to top
- To find the particular solution, substitute ARG1 for ARG2 in the general solution ARG3
2. Type - Animation texts
- We’re almost there! It’s time to see how much we need to get to the hundred closest to our target, which is ARG1. We need ARG2 to make it happen, so add it on to the rectangles

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion
"our target, which is ARG1" ist zusammen mit "The radicand is ARG1" völlig unverständlich.
