The Local Authority have made an application for an interim care/supervision Order of all children and an application for a forced marriage protection Order in respect of X and Y.

When the Local Authority decide whether they should make an application, they will need to consider whether the child is suffering from significant harm or whether they are likely to suffer from significant harm. This is often referred to as the ‘threshold criteria’ and the Court must be satisfied that threshold has been satisfied before making a supervision Order or a Care Order.
