: соответствие хромает: там сеть не обкатывают в реальных условиях эксплуатации с участием персонала и пользователей, а моделируют ее работу путем объезда территории покрытия (отсюда drive)

синтетический вариант: одного «commissioning» – недостаточно, в «pilot deployment» второе слово нельзя отнести к техсредствам, которые уже «deployed» и передаются в опытную эксплуатацию, про «put into operation» хотелось бы спросить у носителей английского: «brought into operation» я встречал в довольно хорошо написанных англоязычных документах, а «put into» все-таки отдает калькой; онлайн-базы переводов (типа context.reverso.net) я особо достоверными не считаю, но «pilot operation» на них преобладает
