Jesus=Yshu or Yeshua (Biblical form) - ישו

You should really go and see the KudoZ glossary first before asking questions that have been asked, answered and graded before. Click on *KudoZ* on the top or on the left depending on your screen, then click on KudoZ Search, enter your term and the language pair. At least you should do that in future.

Yeshu = Yod, Shin, Vav
Yeshua = Yod, Shin, Vav, Ayin.

The savior in Heb Its = Hamoshia/ Yeshu Hamoshia.

Thanks, strange though that you post the same spelling in your answer below.

ישו

The standard spelling is

ישו

from right to left, the letters are:

yod - shin - vav.

The pronunciation is YEH-shoo (stress on the first syllable, quite short 'shoo').

YeSHOOah - spelled ישוע, yod-shin-vav-ayin - is only used by some Christian scholars who speak Hebrew.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Edith Kelly : Glad that I am classified as a Christian scholar. I'm neither the one nor the other.
