Funnily enough on John R's discussion entry, many years ago in our Madrid law office > bufete de abogados, an opinionated English Barrister bet me that there was no such tense as the 'future subjunctive'. So he ended up 100 pesetas - rather than potatoes - out of pocket when I showed him the back pages of Colling and Harrap's dictionaries.
