Spanish term

recintos (en Cálculo)

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Mathematics & Statistics Calculus
In a syllabus for a Calculus III course, the term "recinto" appears as:

Integral de Riemann sobre otros recintos

Integrales sobre recintos elementales

What word do I use for recintos?

(P.D. Obviously I am not a mathematician!!)
Proposed translations (English)
3 +2 domains
4 limits/bounds/boundaries

Discussion

Althea Draper Dec 2, 2020:
Domains and regions tend to be used more when there is a double integration of a function over an area (eg Figure 15.2.3 http://mathonline.wikidot.com/evaluating-double-integrals-ov... ), whereas limits and bounds are more likely to be used to describe the interval in more straightforward single integrations (eg https://images.slideplayer.com/26/8821783/slides/slide_2.jpg )

Typically, boundaries are the equations that allow you to determine the limits/bounds/domains/regions for the integration.
