Hi all -
I am translating a document about an app that users can use to measure how their heart rate as it responds to various forms of exercise.
I am not sure how to translate %d as it appears in the user instructions.
Here is the context:
I was wondering of anyone can tell me what the "d" in "%d" stands for.
Thanks so much!

The d appears to stand for decimal (integer). Cyril’s link points to this being the case. %d is used in English, so I would just use %d.

: For example, variable_3 = "I was searching for an answer in %s and found more than %d answers to my question". Here, %s is a generic string or object and %d is a decimal truncated to an integer. You get other placeholders such as %g for a generic number

I think the meaning of it is implied in the paragraph:
which I translate:
¨... to the streat screen...
The input value must be at (about) % start/starting or greater.
The input value must be at (about) % start/starting o less.
I might be wrong.
