Le consulté al cliente sobre el término "unidades de empleo" y esta fue su respuesta:

Son espacios equipados en las comunidades que brindan un servicio gratuito para asesorar a adolescentes y jóvenes que buscan empleo o emprender un negocio. Físicamente contienen computadoras impresoras para imprimir cv por ejemplo y material de apoyo.

@neilmac Agreed. It's not as if the asker here wants to know how to say feliz cumpleaños in English, and what may appear simple at first glance has many variations and subtler meanings to consider. It's taken a decent amount of time to deliberate on the translation.

It amazes me to think that in the early years of KudoZ, simple words that could've been found in a dictionary passed for "PRO," whereas now it needs to be a Ph.D thesis topic for it to be considered as such. ;-)

PRO query The way I see it, if you really think it's non-pro, why not offer a suggestion instead of just tacitly pooh-poohing the query/asker? Choosing the best option among several discussed is a PRO skill in my book.

Manuel hola I added Job Center as a suggested term as I think it is the right term. The Job Centers in the UK, for example, are government funded and they help people build their skills for interviews, writing CVs, or even learn how to apply for jobs. So you could just specify that these job centers are internal.

En realidad las "unidades de empleo", como el cliente (una ONG) lo indica son instalaciones que el mismo cliente (ONG y no un empleador) ofrece a los jóvenes para que busquen empleo o emprendan un negocio, pero no es un sitio en donde se les contrata.
Siendo así, me parece que job center no aplicaría, verdad?

There are various ways you can call this kind of centre. Here in Alberta, Canada, they refer to them as "works centres," but it's not a term I'm particularly fond of. See the following link: https://www.alberta.ca/employment-services.aspx

More generically (and closer to the source text), you would be fine with employment centre. Here's an example: https://www.calgary.ca/csps/cns/children-and-youth/youth-emp...

Your source text actually refers to a youth employment centre ("... unidades de empleo para los adolescentes y jóvenes ..."), so I would consider translating it as such.

Another option would be employment resource centre, an example of which you can find here:

Overall, I myself would use youth employment centre in the translation.

I read the notes in the discussion; however, I think that "job center" is the right term. The Job Centers in the UK, for example, are government funded and they help people build their skills for interviews, writing CVs, or even learn how to apply for jobs.
