我觉得应该是北河 南路，北河应该是旧上海当时的一个地名。

"如今的河南路分为北、中、南三段。其中，河南中路是英租界辟筑的第一条马路，此路恰好处在当时租界的西缘，故称“界路”（1863年更名“河南路”）。1874年，公共租界工部局在今北苏州路至七浦路修筑了一条5米宽的新路，因其隔着苏州河，与河南路遥遥相望，遂定名“北河南路”，这即是现在河南北路的雏形。"
