@ Asker Not one of my fields. However, only 63 Ghits for this, all basically referring to 1 company so may be specific terminology to that company. I suggest if you can get no advice from the source author that you translate word-for-word ("superimposed" could mean "overlaid" but the latter has other meanings too) That would be preferable to making guesses as to the meaning.
