Lažne vesti (engl. fake news) oblik su propagande žute stampe nastale korištenjem dezinformacija i masovne obmane plasiranih u javnost putem novina ili društvenih mreža. Najčešće se objavljuju u svrhu dezinformiranja i zastrašivanja javnosti ili u svrhu parodije, satire ili jednostavnog privlačenja pažnje (senzacionalizma).
