Lažne vijesti (engl. fake news) oblik su propagande žutog tiska nastale korištenjem dezinformacija i masovne obmane plasiranih u javnost putem novina ili društvenih mreža.
Example sentences:
Izrazom fake news u engleskome se jeziku označuju vijesti koje sadržavaju ili prenose lažne, netočne informacije. U tome se značenju taj izraz upotrebljava i u hrvatskome jeziku. Umjesto toga izraza bolje je u hrvatskome standardnom jeziku upotrijebiti izraz lažne vijesti. (Bolje je hrvatski!)
