showing only shareholder's funds

"Gearing" - the difference between external debts (capital borrowed) and shareholder's funds (capital within the co.)

"Low gearing" - little debt
"High gearing" - much debt

neutral chica nueva : don't think it is this. It is a finance/accounting term regarding debt and equity.

Another view could be that the credit side totals and the debit side totals do not tally; but this is a wild guess ...
