In the description of the products of a company, the term "gauge" appears many times. The sell machines for Statistical Process Control in factories. I searched all ProZ previous questions, but am in doubt regarding exact meaning.
Examples:
The XXZ Quad Port offers 4 inputs for 4 simultaneous XXZ GAUGES.
The XXX workstations provide the real-time data, connectivity and multiple GAUGE interfaces.
There are interfaces to ESW testers and E3 amplifiers. Information from these GAUGES flows automatically to the XX system without associate intervention.
It accomplishes this by serving as a conduit between any type of gauge or machine input.
Is it something like "medidor" / "indicador"?
