يمكن ان نستنتج من هذه العبارة انه على الارجح يجب عمل حز سطحي بواسطة اداة قاطعة قبل الشروع بتسليط الحرارة ليكمل الانكماش مهمة سلخ العازل الحراري
فالسياق لم يقل بانه لاداعي للقطع بتاتا بل انه قال ليس من الضروري القطع بصورة تامة
