Spanish term

entrevista de planificación

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Human Resources
I'm working on an HR text from Spain that says:

Una entrevista de planificación es un acuerdo entre el empleado y su jefe que sirve para traducir las tareas específicas en objetivos de prestación.

For 'entrevista de planificación' I can only find 'planning interview' as an equivalent but in the context of a performance review I wouldn't use that expression.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

The Spanish doesn't quite make sense: an interview is not an agreement, though it may result in one. But haven't you answered your own question with "performance review"?

goal-setting meeting / strategic planning meeting

Given the description of said “entrevista” provided by the Asker, I do not see how “performance review” fits here. The purpose of theeting is to define future goals, and not to review past performance.

performance review planning meeting

My suggestion would be to specify that this refers to the planning meeting related to the performance review plan.
