agree Melanie Nassar : I like utterances, because it conveys the "nichtwiederholbare" more than expressions, which could mean habitual IMO

irrevocably lost children's sayings

or literally: non-repeatable children's sayings
Peer comment(s):

agree Alexander Schleber (X) : "not repeatable" instead of "irrevocably lost" IMO

agree Hilary Davies Shelby : NOT non-repeatable tho, this means "rude" or "not fit to repeat"

agree roneill : This is closest, as the idea is that these childish utterances will not be repeated, not that they are unrepeatable.

baby or child talk

Meiner Meinung nach sind hiermit die Worte der Kleinkindsprache gemeint, die im erwachsenen Alter vergessen sind.
(Wie bei meiner kleinen 1 1/2 jährigen Tochter :))

... can record baby talk which otherwise would be unreproducible.

unrepeatable baby-talk

is my bet....after all, once it's recorded, it's "reproducible"....
Peer comment(s):

disagree Hilary Davies Shelby : this sounds to me like they are "unrepeatable" for some other reason, like obscenity - not likely i know, but doesn't imply something you would want to preserve!

I'm not sure about "reproducible" or "unrepeatable"

"unrepeatable" an unrepeatable joke/comment) sound as if it's obscene (mind you, kids today...), and "unreproducible" sounds a bit too technical (incompatible recording systems etc)...
Maybe something like "[voice recorder] lets you record and preserve your children's speech..."?

sorry for mis-spelling your name, Armorel!
Peer comment(s):

agree Armorel Young : definitely. I think unrepeatable is right out because it so often means "too rude to be repeated"

gems of children's wisdom

The expression "gems of children's wisdom" was what first came to mind, and then I found it used online to describe a book of children's saying: "New Kids Say the Darndest Things"

One of the best-selling books of all time, with 4 million books in print, this collection of gems of children's wisdom is a timeless laugh-filled gallery of pictures of the outside world as grasped by the eyes and earsof innocent, and not-so-innocent, children.
