English to Polish Law/Patents Finance (general)

Article 3 — Duration; specific rights to security, early termination
Subject to what is agreed as regards ***better fortunes*** in case of debt waiver and anticipated termination, the present agreement is concluded for a period of one year as from its signature and shall have a retroactive effect as of the 17th of November, 2016. The same goes for the transaction in progress at the date of the signature of the present agreement.

Znalazłam "zwrot w lepszej sytuacji finansowej", ale nie pasuje mi to w kontekście zdania, a zwłaszcza tego debt waiver.
