La frase fa parte dell'articolo dal titolo "Mutual releases of claims in estates" ed è relativa a un accordo di separazione tra due coniugi.
"The Wife agrees to release, and hereby does release, any and all claims of the Wife to or upon the property of the Husband [...], to the end that he shall have free and unrestricted right to dispose of his property now owned or hereafter acquired, free from any claim or demand of the Wife and so that his estate and all income therefrom derived or to be derived shall go and belong to the perosn or persons who became entitled thereto by will of devise, bequest, intestacy, administration or otherwise, as if the Wife had died during the lifetime of the Husband, and, without in any manner limiting the foregoing, the Wife expressly consents to the probate of any will of the Husband, relinquishes any and all right of election to take any share of the estate of the Husband, as in intestacy [...]"
